• In your mgetty+sendfax-Package (version 1.1.17 or higher) you will find a command named mid

  mgetty/tools/mid ttySx
  

  where ttySx is the tty with a connected modem. or:

  mgetty/tools/mid -M emailaddresse ttySx
  

  The result wil be mailed to emailadresse.

• To enter this result in the form, please remove the first line from your output - which looks something like this:

  testing for modem on /dev/ttyS1 with 38400 bps...
  

• and enter the rest into the textarea - the result should look like:
